Non-ethical behaviour, business failures, fraud, window dressing, abuse of the IT environment and other incidents have an enormous impact on the credibility and continuity of an enterprise and on the reputation of management and advisory boards.

Stricter legislation and self regulation stimulate acting in time and the awareness of integrity and thus supports the right behaviour.

The prevention of reputational damage and continuity problems caused by mismanagement, integrity problems and inefficient control of risks are a high priority now for both bigger and smaller organizations.

It takes an integrated approach with all risks addressed, to become a long lasting incorruptible, healthy and safe organization.

Operating in isolation with security issues/incidents does not create the desired change in culture. Fraud incidents, mismanagement and careless behaviour are not isolated matters, they are indicators. This often is the result of long lasting old patterns and a deeply settled company culture and mentality. Cooperation with other parties is essential, innovating together as well.

Implementing compliance and being compliant are two different things.

A crisis may come up suddenly, however the underlying cause was there long before. This cause consists mostly out of a behaviour component and a structure component. Traditional controls do not find that cause.

A soundly performing organization exists longer and builds more value.
